Privacy Policy
Effective 23 June 2026 — last updated 24 July 2026
Who we are
TUNITY is a music social network — "Where Music Happens". This policy explains how TUNITY Ltd. ("TUNITY", "we", "us") handles your information when you join the waitlist or contact us through this site. If you have any questions about it, get in touch through our contact form.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit it through the waitlist form.
- When you use our contact form: your name, your email address, and the content of your message.
- Limited technical data used only for spam protection (see "Keeping the form secure" below).
We don't collect any other personal details on this site.
Why we use it
We use your email address, with your consent, to:
- let you know when TUNITY launches, and
- send you TUNITY news, updates and the occasional newsletter.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting your email address on the form and confirming it via the email we send you. You can withdraw it at any time (see "Your choices and rights").
If you write to us through the contact form, we use the details you provide only to read and reply to your message. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Where it's stored
We use Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit) to store email addresses and send our emails. Your data is held on Kit's systems and may be processed outside the UK; where that happens, it's protected by appropriate safeguards.
Messages you send through the contact form are delivered to us by Resend, our email-delivery processor, and then arrive in our inbox. Resend may process this data in the United States; that transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses in Resend's data processing agreement — the safeguard that protects your data when it leaves the UK and EU.
Keeping the form secure
To stop bots and spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. To tell humans from automated traffic, Turnstile processes limited technical information from your device, including your IP address. It isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — so you'll stay on our list after launch and keep receiving news, unless you tell us otherwise. If you unsubscribe or are removed, we may keep a minimal record to make sure we don't email you again.
We keep messages sent through the contact form, and our reply, for up to 12 months after your enquiry is resolved, then delete them — unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation or to deal with a dispute.
Your choices and rights
At any time you can:
- Unsubscribe — every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- Ask us to delete your data — send us a request through our contact form, choosing "Privacy or data request".
Under UK data protection law you also have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, use our contact form and choose "Privacy or data request". You can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
